Reminiscences and Histories of the Algonquin Park Area

As the daughter of a park ranger in Eastern Ontario's world-renowned Algonquin Park, H. Eleanor (Mooney) Wright experienced this spectacular wilderness in a way few others have. Eleanor's books show us a life where you often saw deer, moose, black bear, otter, porcupines and other wild creatures. You might even meet a timber wolf while walking home from school.
"We are grateful that someone who was actually there has devoted herself to helping us glimpse a fading chapter of our Algonquin Park heritage." The Raven, Algonquin Provincial Park.
